Caraway Filtered Water Pitcher

Disciplines: Industrial Design, Design Research

Time: 2024, 6 weeks + 2026, 1 weeks

A filtered water pitcher concept designed for Caraway — built to fit seamlessly into their existing product ecosystem. Originally developed as a student project at Offsite in 2024 and revisited in 2026.

Designed to be disassembled - every part can be easily separated to clean.

The metal lid pivots open to reveal a wide catchment opening — making refills easy and hands-free.

The Process

A market analysis identified where Caraway would sit in this space - an elegant form with high filtration efficiency.

Enduring

Three concepts were developed. One was selected.

I looked into proportions, functionality and translating Caraway’s design language to develop the form.

I first published this project in 2024. Over time, I noticed design decisions that bugged me. As a result, I revisited the project in 2026 to address some design flaws to work out a concept that could realistically live in Caraway’s ecosystem.
